At Brandon Pride, our vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving community where every resident, including LGBTQ+ individuals, feels a profound sense of belonging and pride.
We celebrate diversity, support local initiatives, and foster an environment of acceptance, understanding, and unity. Our goal is to make Brandon, Suffolk, a model of community spirit, where everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live authentically, confidently, and without fear of discrimination.
We also believe that community should be joyful.
We strive to create a welcoming and engaging environment where fun, friendship, and shared experiences are at the heart of everything we do.
Brandon Pride is a volunteer-led community organisation made up of people who share this vision and are committed to making it a reality. Our work is guided by our Constitution and our Vision, Values and Culture document, both of which are available on this page.
Our vision is ongoing and grows stronger with every person who joins us—whether by attending an event, volunteering, sharing a conversation, or simply showing their support. Together, we are building a Brandon that reflects the very best of who we can be: inclusive, compassionate, and proud.
We are incredibly proud to have been awarded £11,362 from The National Lottery Community Fund to support our Pride Day event. This funding not only recognises the dedication and hard work that has gone into Brandon Pride since 2024, but also highlights Brandon itself as a town deserving of investment, celebration, and opportunities that bring people together.
This award is an investment in our community and a testament to what can be achieved when people come together with a shared vision of inclusion, pride, and belonging.
