"We are really honoured to have been awarded this funding! It helps cover the core costs of running our Pride event and it also recognises the care and commitment that has gone into building Brandon Pride.
This support sends a clear message that Brandon matters, queer people matter and that love is loud. It gives us the space to host an event for the queer community alongside their families and friends. Brandon Pride is not only about celebration, it’s about sharing information, opening conversations and signposting people to the support that exists.
Through the messages and conversations we have had, we know this work has changed lives and perspectives, and we hope to keep growing so we can support our community even more in the years ahead"

Brandon Pride was founded not only to celebrate together, but to honour those we have lost and to help create a future where younger generations grow up surrounded by compassion, love, and tolerance.
Their vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive, and thriving community where every resident, including LGBTQ+ individuals, feels a profound sense of belonging and pride.

The funding from the National Lottery Community Fund will ensure that Brandon Pride can continue to remain free for everyone to attend. It also allows organisers to fund all the core costs and make essential purchases. The free to attend event welcomes the whole community, creating a space where people can gather, celebrate and share their stories - each one beautiful, intricate and important.

Brandon Pride will take place on Saturday 13th June 2026 from 11am and offers fun for all the family, including community stalls, food traders, games, activities and fabulous live entertainment.
